Google just confirmed two new features in its upcoming Pixel 4 phone expected in October

  • Google teased some new features coming to the upcoming Pixel 4 smartphone that’s expected to be announced in October.
  • In a blog post, the company said the phone will use the Soli radar technology that Google has been working on for the last five years.
  • Soli will enable motion gesture controls for things like skipping songs, snoozing alarms, and silencing phone calls by waving your hands.
  • Soli will also be used for facial recognition that will supposedly be more efficient and seamless at unlocking the Pixel 4 than Apple’s Face ID on the iPhone XS.
